News Omni mobile TV antenna packs in performance The latest in the mobile TV antenna range from Radio Frequency Systems is the vertically polarized omnidirectional SDV4 antenna. The lightweight and low-profile SDV4 supports broadband UHF operation from 470MHz to beyond 750MHz, and is ideal for deploying at mobile base stations and towers to support mobile media/cellular overlays. The antenna features excellent impedance and a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). Its maximum average input power is 1kW. Measuring 2.25m (7.4 feet) tall and 320mm (12.6in) in diameter, the SDV4 exhibits remarkably low wind-load and, at just 45kg (99lb), is one of the lightest antennas in RFS’s broadcast portfolio.
